"Chris Proctor- Guitar Collection" contains exact transcriptions of 12 of the 16 pieces from "The Chris Proctor Collection," also in music and tablature, and includes a 75 minute instructional CD which focuses on the difficult sections of each piece in the book, and introduces the reader to Chris's landmark use of the Ebow, his foam muting device, his slide technique, and his use of the 12-string octave strings for melody rather than their traditional bass role. The "Runoff" book contains both standard notation and guitar tablature for music from the corresponding album.

The DVD's begin with accessible intermediate repertoire which will get the student up and running, and then progress to providing in-depth instruction for several of Chris's most popular songs, which are broken down and explained. This well-structured approach offers real hands-on instruction, and is appropriate for all intermediate to advanced players. The 6-string DVD describes and explains ways to understand tunings, amplification, partial capos, e-bow, practice tips, and much more. The 12-string DVD focuses on taking the skills of a 6-string fingerstylist and applying them to the unique opportunities and challenges of the 12-string guitar.
